German power metal band Powerwolf entered the studio in January 2018 to begin recording their as-yet-untitled seventh full-length studio album, slated for 2018 issue through Napalm Records.
The outing is being recorded at Fascination Street in Örebro, Sweden with producer Jens Bogren.
Guitarist Matthew Greywolf commented in autumn 2017: “It feels exciting and spurring to have one of our all-time fave producers working with us on this adventure. Can’t wait to record a truly epic new chapter of the metal mass – be forewarned!”
Powerwolf’s line-up is as follows:
Attila Dorn (vocals)
Matthew Greywolf (guitar)
Charles Greywolf (guitar and bass)
Roel van Helden (drums)
Falk Maria Schlegel (keyboards)
Sixth studio record Blessed & Possessed was released in July 2015 via Napalm.
